KEY POINT

What makes the INTO ABROAD US Schooling Camp special

A 100% Texas private school experience

At a prestigious private Christian school in Texas, students take 7 hours of regular classes a day from outstanding teachers alongside American students. In this program designed for international students, the 24-hour English Policy that continues after school and an English-only community life immerse students in an environment of absorption rather than memorization, so they naturally pick up easy, natural English for all kinds of situations.

Convergence education from art & tech experts

Connecting fields such as drawing, design, AR and interaction, students discover problems around them from a fresh perspective and turn their ideas into real works and a portfolio. Through individual projects and team collaboration they develop creativity, digital skills, communication and problem-solving together, laying the groundwork to grow into future-ready, multidisciplinary talent.

Career mentoring with working professionals & professors

Through counseling and mentoring with working professionals and professors in art and design, students hear firsthand about real majors and careers. Based on their own interests and strengths, they receive concrete advice on further study, choosing a major and how to prepare their portfolio.

Local excursions and building a global network

Visits to RICE University, UT-Austin and TEXAS A&M, the Ivy League of the South, and meetings with real college students help students shape their future career and study plans. Tours of top-10 US cities and Fortune 500 companies let them experience world-class technology trends, and visits to the NASA space center and the State Capitol build a sense of global leadership. There are also field trips 1–2 times a week, including outlet and supermarket visits.

Plus a tour of LA, America's top destination

In LA, home to all of America's top-10 tourist attractions: Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, campus visits to UCLA and USC, and Disneyland. A tour where students see and feel their dreams at a glance (art, culture, media, business, an American network and more), it is a powerful, motivating time that widens their view of the world and wakes up a dormant mind.

Life in the US that is safe, mentally and physically

The camp is located in College Station, a safe area near Houston, Texas, and all travel is by our own direct pickup system, so student safety is managed thoroughly. An education program that expanded to the US, carrying the educational know-how of a Korean alternative school that has produced graduates of leading universities such as Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University and Handong Global University, it fosters character growth. No media! Young mentors from US universities manage the dormitory, and through 1:1 mentoring and small-group meetings students learn to open up and build relationships with people of different ages.

Small groups, close supervision. This is a schooling school run exclusively with IMUSA every year. Students depart as a group (with a chaperone), and on arrival at the TX airport they are met by local Korean guardians and staff.

Q&A

FAQ

Q1Is the camp only for students planning to major in art?
ANo. Any student in grade 5 – grade 11 (elementary 5 – high school 11th grade) can join. The US private school regular classes and life training are the same for every student, and the creative convergence program progresses step by step from drawing to digital, AR and interaction, making it an especially good fit for students exploring careers in art and design.
Q2Should I choose Session 1 or Session 2?
ABoth sessions follow the same flow and cost the same. Session 1 starts on January 2 and Session 2 on January 29, and each lasts 4 weeks. Students can extend to 8 or 12 weeks; the 8-week extension is for Session 1 participants only.
Q3What costs are there besides the program fee?
AThe program fee does not include VAT. Airfare · airport pickup & drop-off, travel insurance · ESTA, personal spending money, meals on field trips (about $15–20 each), and the $50 housing deposit (fully refunded if there is no damage) are extra.
Q4Can a guardian come along?
AYes. The guardian fee for 4 weeks is KRW 3 million at the Early Bird price (Regular price KRW 3.5 million, VAT not included), and guardians stay in a single room in an American-style apartment.
Q5How will I get updates from the camp?
AWe share daily-life photos and schooling updates every day through the guardian group chat and our blog. After the camp, we also share the career counseling and level test results.
